Quality Assurance

Product safety and quality assurance (QA) are integral to everything we do at Richardson Nutrition, and it shows in our excellent track record.

Before any processed oil products can be packaged for sale, they must first pass inspection in two separate QA laboratories. Our stringent quality standards assess incoming raw materials, in-process production as well as the release of finished products to our customers. Our packaging plant is fully compliant with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) HACCP food safety program requirements. The Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) immediately identifies, controls and quickly corrects any potential food safety concerns before they can become problems.

The packaging plant is audited on a regular basis by the CFIA, the American Institute of Baking (AIB) and the Grocery Manufacturers Association/Food Products Association (GMA-SAFE) food safety standards. Both AIB and GMA-SAFE are accredited, internationally recognized and certified organizations in auditing food safety programs.
