Eastern Canada
In Eastern Canada, Richardson is focused on grain handling and merchandising. Richardson serves growers in Ontario and Quebec and end-use customers through its port terminal elevators in Hamilton, Ontario and Sorel, Québec. These terminals are favoured links for Ontario and Quebec-grown wheat, corn, soybeans, feed peas and oats, providing excellent access to Atlantic and North American markets.
Our port facility in Hamilton, Ontario, the most recent addition to the Richardson International terminal network, was completed in 1998. Well received by producers and buyers alike, the terminal was soon expanded to meet the growing challenges and opportunities inherent in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
Located on the St. Lawrence Seaway, our terminal in Sorel-Tracy tranships grain from the west. Richardson International Sorel is instrumental in developing new markets for locally grown crops such as corn and soybeans.
Richardson also has a marketing office in Boucherville, Quebec help support our export and domestic merchandising activities in central Canada.
