This cold Manitoba winter doesn’t stand a chance in keeping these active kids indoors! Our South Lakes Richardson Pioneer team recently presented the Grosse Isle School with a gift of $15,000 to help cover the cost of their new school playground.
Grosse Isle Parent Advisory Council members accept a cheque from Richardson Pioneer employees Doug McArthur, Peter Schutz, and Shane Johnston, on behalf of the Richardson Foundation.
Students and their families have been actively fundraising since February, 2016 to build an age appropriate playground for their grade 5-8 school. The new, modern playground structure includes a NetPlex climbing piece, an Oodle Swing and a zipline.
The Grosse Isle Parent Advisory Council is planning a grand opening barbeque to show off the new playground in the spring.
