Richardson is launching its first Take Your Best Shot Winter photo contest. All Richardson customers and employees are encouraged to take your best winter shots and enter.
We’re looking for the best winter photos that showcase Canadian agriculture and highlight Richardson. We want photos that feature people, our locations and the ag industry (i.e. landscapes, winter-specific conditions like storms or frost, transportation, etc). The grand prize winning shot will be featured in marketing materials, on our website, on Richardson’s social media channels and in the 2018 Richardson calendar. Other winners will be featured on Richardson’s social media channels and potentially other marketing materials, depending on the photo’s resolution (see more details below).
How to enter:
Submit your photos to: firstname.lastname@example.org and include:
Here are the prizes for the winter contest. Please see below for more details on eligibility.
Grand Prize: Waterproof camera
Second Place: Bluetooth speaker
Third Place: Richardson travel bag
Judges, including professional photographers, will select photos based on creativity, composition, resolution and how the image captures the spirit of winter, agriculture and our business.
Grand Prize Winner
Please note: Any entrants seeking to win the grand prize must submit a photo of a high enough resolution to be featured in our calendar. Photos should be 300 dpi and no smaller than 8” x 10” and four megabytes. If photo submissions are 72 dpi, they must be at least 3,000 pixels in size both vertically and horizontally. You can check the quality of your photos by right clicking on the file on your computer, selecting “Properties” and clicking on the details tab.
Photos of all resolutions will be eligible to win second and third place. Photos will be judged based on creativity and composition, but do not necessarily have to be of a high enough resolution to be featured in printed materials. For example, photos taken on a cell phone will be eligible. If the second and/or third place winning photos are of a lower resolution, they may not be as prominently displayed in Richardson’s 2018 calendar or in other company marketing materials, but they will be featured on Richardson’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn).
Richardson’s deadline for submission is 11:59 p.m. on March 31, 2017. Winners will be announced in mid-April. See full contest details and rules here: Winter Contest – Customer and Employee Photo Contest Rules
Good luck and remember to take your best winter shots!
