Development Programs
At Richardson, we are proud to have a company culture that encourages employee development and ongoing education. We also know how important it is to provide our employees the tools they need to help them work, learn, and make an impact on the company. Richardson offers four paid, full-time, specialized development programs for recent grads:
- Agribusiness Development Program: Designed for graduates with an agriculture diploma or degree, this program provides challenging assignments in all facets of the Richardson Pioneer division, including agronomy, agribusiness, grain sales and marketing, crop input sales, and corporate roles.
- CPA Development Program: Richardson is proud to be one of the first accredited industry employers in Manitoba to support CPA students in earning their designation. This program provides opportunities to advance skills within the finance and accounting fields, expand knowledge on assignment within various teams, and prepare for progressive roles within the company while working towards a CPA designation.
- Merchandising & Transportation Development Program This program is designed to support graduates of supply chain or logistics programs with hands-on experience sourcing, selling, and shipping Canadian-grown grains and oilseeds. This program includes an opportunity to work in operations at a rural Richardson Pioneer Ag Business Centre.
- Operations Development Program: This multifaceted three-year program provides exposure to manufacturing and processing operations with in-depth plant and equipment experience in a hands-on operational environment. The program also offers exposure to key areas within Richardson’s wide network and various business divisions.
