2026 Take Your Best Shot Photo Contest is Now Open

As Canada’s leading agribusiness, we connect food production from farm to table through a vertically integrated supply chain. We’re proud of our industry and global impact, and we want to see it through your lens.

Submit your best photography showcasing the spirit of agriculture across Canada, Great Britain, and the United States. We’re looking for imaginative, high-quality images that captivate and inspire.

Winning entries may receive a cash prize and be featured in our 2027 calendar.

Photo Guidelines:

  • While all submissions are welcome, photos that capture our facilities and operations are especially encouraged
  • Images must be horizontal (landscape)
  • Photos must not include people

Winter

DECEMBER 1, 2025 - APRIL 9, 2026

FIRST PLACE
$750.00 CDN cash prize (or local currency equivalent) and a Richardson branded Vanguard backpack (approximate value of $80.00 CDN)

Annual

APRIL 30, 2026 - SEPTEMBER 10, 2026

FIRST PLACE
$1,500.00 CDN cash prize (or local currency equivalent) and a Richardson branded puffy vest (approximate value of $62.00 CDN)

SECOND PLACE
$750.00 CDN cash prize (or local currency equivalent) and a Richardson branded Nike duffle bag (approximate value of $60.00 CDN)

THIRD PLACE
$250.00 CDN cash prize (or local currency equivalent) and a Richardson branded Stanley Quencher (30 oz) (approximate value of $68.00 CDN)

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received. Winners will be featured in the Richardson 2027 calendar with attribution for their photograph. The calendar will be in circulation in the late fall of 2026. Winning photographs may also be featured in other marketing materials of the Sponsor and will be featured on Sponsor’s social media channels with attribution for their photograph. At Richardson, we appreciate the special moments that come with being a part of our industry - the winning photos of this contest visually tell the agriculture story, from planting the seed to harvesting the crop. Selected by a panel of judges based on their creativity, composition, and resolution, the photos featured in this year’s calendar are a nod to a community we are proud to be a part of.
