We are aware of a scam involving threat actors impersonating Richardson International and individual employees to issue fraudulent product requests, invoices, credit applications, and payment inquiries. These fraudulent communications often use fake domains and documents and unauthorized use of Richardson branding to appear legitimate.
We take these matters seriously and are working closely with law enforcement to investigate and address the issue.
To help protect our network, please always remain alert to potential fraud and follow the guidelines below:
- Richardson International will never pressure partners or suppliers for immediate payment or ask for banking details without an established relationship.
- Always verify sender details. Official Richardson International communications will only come from email addresses ending in @richardson.ca.
- If you receive a suspicious message, especially involving product orders or financial matters, confirm its legitimacy by contacting your known Richardson representative.
If you do not have an existing Richardson contact or are unsure about a request, reach out to reporting.riskmanagement@richardson.ca. We also encourage you to report any suspected fraud to local authorities.
Thank you for your vigilance and cooperation in helping keep business safe.
