Going on our fifth year operating in Memphis, Richardson’s commitment to the Wesson production facility is being recognized on a national scale.
Based on our 2023 announcement of adding $220 million in facility upgrades and 100 new jobs at the Wesson Oil plant, the city of Memphis has earned a prestigious CiCi Award for Community Impact, Trade & Industry Development.
“What really set this expansion project apart for the committee is our action to reduce environmental impact,” says Tobias Dewey (Vice-President, Oilseed Operations). “Specifically, they noted our efforts to modernize the plant to reduce water/energy consumption and wastewater volumes, all while improving efficiency.”
